Terms of Use, Disclaimer, and Refund Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026 · Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and Critical Interview Mastery LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (“CIM,” “we,” “us”). By purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or using any CIM course, session, or material, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or access CIM services.
2. No Guarantee of Hiring or Job Placement
CIM does not guarantee any job, job offer, interview, hiring decision, job placement, salary, promotion, or other result. CIM is an education and coaching business, not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or employment agency. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers based on factors outside CIM’s control. Examples, stories, and testimonials are for illustration only and are not a promise or prediction of your results. Your results depend on your own experience, effort, and circumstances.
CIM is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any employer, utility, power plant, data center operator, or staffing firm, including the employer of CIM’s owner. CIM does not provide referrals or influence hiring at any company. Course content is general educational information and is not legal, financial, medical, or career-placement advice.
3. Refunds and Appointments: All Sales Final
In high-reliability industries, keeping your word is fundamental. CIM holds itself and its clients to that standard: scheduled appointments are firm commitments.
No refunds once a session or program has started. A program is “started” when you open, view, play, or download any lesson, video, workbook, worksheet, quiz, or other material. There is no time window: once any material is started, no refund, partial refund, or credit is available, regardless of how much you complete.
Scheduled appointments are final. Once any live appointment is scheduled, it cannot be rescheduled or cancelled, and no refund is given. A missed or late appointment counts as delivered and is forfeited; a late start does not extend the scheduled end time.
If CIM cancels. If CIM itself cancels an appointment, CIM will reschedule at your convenience or provide a pro-rated refund for the service not delivered.
Refunds are not available because you did not get an interview or job, changed your mind, or did not complete the course. Please contact info@criticalinterview.com before filing any payment dispute or chargeback.
4. Ownership of Materials
All course materials, including videos, audio, slides, workbooks, worksheets, fillable forms, quizzes, scripts, examples, the STAR+ and Reliable Operator frameworks as presented by CIM, text, graphics, logos, and the course structure (“Materials”), are owned by Critical Interview Mastery LLC and protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Purchasing gives you a license to use the Materials; it does not transfer ownership of any Materials to you.
5. Single-User Personal License
CIM grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Materials solely for your own individual interview preparation and career development. Your account and access are for one person only. You may not share your login, give others access, transfer, sell, or assign your enrollment, or use the Materials for any group, employer, school, or commercial purpose. You may print or save completed copies of your own worksheets for your personal use.
Group pricing is per person. Group Core is $2,000 per person ($1,750 per person for Self-Paced grads); each enrollment covers one participant and may not be shared or split.
6. Access Period: 90 Days
Your access to CIM Self-Paced Foundations modules, and to any Premium 1:1 session materials, expires 90 days after your purchase or start date. After that, your account access to the Materials ends. Copies of your own completed worksheets that you saved for personal use remain yours, subject to these Terms.
7. Copying, Sharing, and Reproduction Strictly Prohibited
Any reproduction or distribution of the Materials is strictly prohibited. Without CIM’s prior written permission, you may not:
- copy, reproduce, duplicate, download (except as the platform allows for your personal use), or store the Materials;
- share, distribute, forward, post, upload, publish, transmit, or make the Materials available to anyone, including on social media, websites, forums, file-sharing services, or group chats;
- sell, resell, rent, license, or otherwise commercially exploit the Materials;
- take screenshots, screen captures, photographs, or pictures of any Materials;
- make screen recordings, audio recordings, or video recordings of any Materials or sessions;
- modify, translate, adapt, summarize for distribution, or create derivative works from the Materials, or use them to coach or train others or build a competing product or service;
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or ownership notice; or
- use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access or copy the Materials, or feed the Materials into any AI or machine-learning tool for distribution or training.
Your own personal stories and answers remain yours.
8. Violations: Termination Without Refund
If CIM believes you have violated these Terms, CIM may immediately suspend or terminate your account and access to all Materials, without notice and without any refund. Termination does not limit any other right or remedy CIM has.
9. Remedies
You agree that unauthorized copying or distribution of the Materials would cause CIM irreparable harm for which money damages alone would not be adequate. CIM is therefore entitled to seek injunctive relief and other equitable relief, without posting a bond to the extent permitted by law, in addition to damages (including statutory damages where available), recovery of any profits you obtained, and its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs incurred in enforcing these Terms, and any other remedy available at law or in equity.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Materials are provided “as is” for educational purposes. Technical examples are illustrative and do not replace your employer’s procedures, training, or qualifications. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CIM is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost wages or job opportunities, and CIM’s total liability will not exceed the amount you paid.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
12. General
CIM may update these Terms; the version in effect at the time of purchase applies to that purchase, and continued use after an update means you accept it. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Questions: info@criticalinterview.com.
